JOIN THE FIGHT AND MAKE AN ETERNAL IMPACT
It has been estimated that as often as every two minutes around the world, a life is being bought and sold as if it were merely a commodity to be traded. Human beings – image bearers of God – are being captured, exploited. The exact numbers are hard to track, often inconsistent, and presumably underreported, yet they are a global reality steadily trending higher at an alarming pace.
Human trafficking is a billion dollar industry, garnering more than $150 billion annually
Child sexual exploitation, a grave issue, remains widespread, impacting millions of minors globally.
The Rescue Team is an army of people committed to engaging, inspiring, and equipping others in the fight against human trafficking and exploitation.
noun
Those committed to financially supporting the costs incurred in the fight against human trafficking. In addition to monthly giving, when a need arises, this is the team who steps up to meet it.
noun
The ones bringing awareness to human trafficking by raising their voices in their own communities. Through fundraising and networking, this team’s primary role in the battle is to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.
noun
Those who have partnered with TTF’s Prayer Ministry in consistent, intentional, and guided prayer for those rescuing and being rescued. When lives are at stake, this is the team that will stop and pray.
Though a solution to human trafficking can be daunting to consider, we serve a God for whom nothing is impossible.
As the Tim Tebow Foundation continues to fight in the rescue mission He has called us to, we are committed to supporting those affected by this crime against humanity in three ways:
The Tim Tebow Foundation is committed to advancing this fight for the millions who have been trafficked, exploited, and who are at risk of becoming victims. Through direct services as well as partnerships with more than a dozen other ministries, the Tim Tebow Foundation is currently fighting human trafficking and child exploitation around the world. The foundation currently operates 8 safe homes and partners in 35 more to support survivors as they heal and transition back into a life of freedom.
TTF is currently serving both domestically and internationally in more than a dozen different countries. For the safety and security of both the victims and the rescue operations on the front lines, we are unable to disclose more specific details, such as names or locations.
The foundation is engaged in three phases of impact: through prevention with international community resource centers that come alongside at-risk families providing training and support to strengthen the family unit, preventing them from being taken advantage of in their vulnerability or having to turn their children into commodities out of desperation; through the support of rescue operations that extract victims from the darkest of places and bring them to safety; and through survivor care by creating a holistic community of care that addresses survivors’ physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual needs in long-term residential settings that nurture their healing and give them the tools for a life of freedom.
At this time, we are focusing our efforts on deepening our impact through our current strategic partnerships. We are encouraged to know that there are many who share our passion for this fight and encouraged by the momentum and awareness created by each of us lifting our voices to put a stop to human trafficking.
